There are no hard and fast rules for designing a werewolf. Everyone has different ideas about what they should look like. For me, making the forepaws appear more like the actual paws of an animal is far more interesting and convincing to me, than the overly long and thin (weak?) looking talons of some werewolf designs; like those found in the original "The Howling" movie.  Again, everyone has an opinion on the matter, but there really are no hard and fast rules for creating hybrid forms with human and animal qualities.  Quentin is but one approach.

Quentin's fur color comes from UV maps. Notice that his skin is black, just like
in nature. The fur is intentionally clumped more in this image, so that the pelt
reads better at a distance. If you're intersted in Quentin playing a role in a
horror movie, just let me know!
